Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacterium called treponema pallidum. Early disease can be  easily treated cure syphilis. Lack of proper treatment may cause many risks and complications years.

Gonorrhea – 10 Basic Facts

Gonorrhea is an acute infection of  the genitourinary tract. The disease is caused by a bacterium called Neisseria gonorrhea. The disease can be treated easily in its early stages but if neglected  it can cause lasting complications.

What is the expression of the disease?

Gonorrhea in women and also occurs in men as well. Some people are  infected without knowing it.

Men: in most cases – a thick milky yellow discharge   from the  urethra (penis). Usually accompanied by pain or burning with urination. The symptoms usually begin about 5 to 7 days after infection.

Women: The disease   will  be manifested   by  a  discharge  and burning sensation while urinating. In some cases vaginal  bleeding is also possible with  lower abdominal pain or pain during sexual intercourse. If the disease is not treated in time the infection may spread to the uterus and ovaries. This situation is called PID and   can cause infertility. How is gonorrhea treated ?
